Alison Chong is the founder of Amlicia Makeup Hair, a Sydney-trained wedding hair and makeup artist based in Kuala Lumpur with over 16 years of experience. She is known for combining refined bridal artistry with a dermatology-focused approach to create timeless, flawless bridal beauty. Having worked with brides from diverse cultural backgrounds and skin tones across international weddings, Alison has built a reputation for delivering elegant, personalised looks that enhance each bride’s natural beauty.

 

Her international journey began at Amy Chan Hair and Makeup Artistry, Sydney’s leading Asian wedding hair and makeup company. Between 2016 and 2020, Alison trained directly under Amy Chan, working alongside some of Sydney’s renowned wedding photographers and contributing her artistry to weddings across Sydney, Melbourne, the Gold Coast, and Perth. During this time, she developed extensive expertise in both Asian and Caucasian bridal beauty while gaining invaluable experience with destination and multicultural weddings.

 

With her extensive knowledge of dermatology-focused bridal makeup, Alison offers more than beautiful makeup—she creates a complete bridal beauty experience. Her approach prioritises healthy-looking skin, long-lasting performance, and harmony between skincare and makeup, enhancing each bride’s unique features while ensuring a radiant, elegant finish from the first look to the last dance.
